Highland Web Solutions - Small Scale Maintenance

When a new website is purchased from Highland Web Solutions the client will receive a small scale maintenance plan free of charge for the first 12 months. This plan is only available to clients who have the website hosted with us and will not be valid if the website is moved to another host.
The 12 month period of cover will begin from the date that the website is uploaded to the internet, the website owner may be offered a chance to purchase further cover when the plan reaches the end of this period.

Included in the small scale maintenance plan
Highland Web Solutions will check the website on a monthly basis to ensure all is well and that the website is working properly. In the unlikely event that a problem is detected we will remove the website from the internet, repair the fault, put it back up and check it a second time.

If a client reports a fault to Highland Web Solutions it will be checked and rectified, within 24 hours where possible.

We will submit the website to the top 10 web search engines at the end of every month to enable it to be found by the public. (search engine ranking is never guaranteed)

All clients receive an e-mail at the end of each month to confirm that the website has been checked for errors and that it has been submitted to the top 10 search engines.

Clients may have small changes made to a website. This includes change of e-mail address, change of telephone number or changes to site or map links. (this does not include large scale changes or new site content)

Not included in the small scale maintenance plan

Large changes to page content.

Errors on or damage to the web pages, server settings or e-mail settings caused by the client or other third party who has access to the website settings.

Additional links and e-mail accounts.

Malfunctioning software on clients computer systems (unless supplied by us)

This plan is only available to clients who purchase hosting from Highland Web Solutions.

Each small scale maintenance plan is for use with 1 website only.

Highland Web Solutions reserve the right to withdraw the free small scale maintenance plan at any time.

Highland Web Solutions reserve the right to withdraw a current plan if it becomes subject to abuse by the client or other third party.
